Kroger Deals for June 24-30, 2009

Kroger seems to have the best deals this week.  Their big sale is that you get $3.00 off instantly when you buy 10 participating items.  You must buy participating item in increments of 10 to get the prices I listed, since this will be the price after the $3 discount.  The items will all ring up $.50 higher initially when you check out, then $3 will be taken off at the end of your transaction (when you use your Kroger card).  There is no limit on the sets of 10 you can purchase (i.e. you can buy 10, 20, 30).  These are the best deals I see for the $3 off 10 sale (marked with a “*”):

Check with your local store to see what their coupon policy is.  The following is the policy (as I understand it) at the store I visit most often.  Kroger triples coupons up to and including $.39 (i.e. a $.30 coupon will take a total of $.90 off) and doubles coupons up to and including $.50 (i.e. a $.50 coupon will take a total of $1.00 off).  Be sure to ask your store about their coupon policy.  The stores I visit will allow unlimited double coupons per transaction, but will only allow 3 tripled coupons per purchase.  In addition, they only allow up to 3 of the exact same coupon per transaction.  However, they have always allowed me to make multiple purchases in a visit so that I can use all the coupons that I have.

Decode the coupon abbreviations:

SS = Smart Source coupon insert

RP = Red Plum coupon insert

PG = Procter & Gamble coupon insert

GM = General Mills coupon insert
