Huggies Deal at Target

Huggies Diapers

Target has an excellent deal on Huggies diapers this week!  From June 14-20, 2009, Huggies jumbo pack diapers are on sale for $8.99.  When you buy 3 packs, you get a $5 Target gift card.  The gift card can be used on a future purchase.  As far as I am aware, you can do this deal as many times as you want (though you may have to check out separately for each set of three).  Use your gift card from the first set to help pay for the next set.  Here’s how to make the most of this deal:

Buy 3 Huggies jumbo packs for $8.99 = $26.97

Use 3 $1.50/1 coupons from 5/17 SmartSource (OR $2.00/1 internet coupons available awhile back OR coupons you receive in the mail if you’re on the Huggies mailing list)

Get $5.00 Target card

= $17.47 for 3 ($5.82 each!!)

***

I assume that the deal also works for Pull-Ups.  Check at your store, then do this deal:

Buy 3 Pull-Ups jumbo packs for $8.99 = $26.97

Use 2 $3.00/1 coupons here (Internet Explorer or Firefox)- or more than 2 if you have access to more than one computer

Use 1 $2.00/1 coupon from 6/14 SmartSource (OR coupons from a Huggies mailer)

Get $5.00 Target card

= $13.97 for 3 ($4.66 each!!)

Target Shopping Trip for $5.33

06 003

I got some good deals at Target tonight (May 14, 2009).  I bought everything you see in the picture for $5.33 after coupons.  Here is a list of everything I bought and the coupons I used.  Keep in mind that you do not have to buy as many of each product as I did (or you may want to buy more).  At Target, you can combine manufacturer coupons with Target store coupons (see more info here).  You can print the Target coupons from the link I provided but you may have to open a free account for the site, OR some of the coupons are available directly from the Target website here.

Some of the coupons were a higher value than the price of the product.  The register would not automatically accept those coupons, but my cashier pushed them through anyway.  I marked these special purchases with a “*”, so you can try them at your own risk.

I provide the coupon insert info, so you do not have to clip all the coupons every week if you do not have the time.  Just write the date on the front of each booklet and file them, then you can easily find the coupons you need for a quick shopping trip.  Abbreviations used:

RP = Red Plum coupon insert from the Sunday newspaper

SS = Smart Source insert from the Sunday newspaper
