Target Shopping Spree for $1.28!

Target May 7, 2009

Target May 7, 2009

I scored an amazing deal at Target tonight!!  I bought everything you see in the picture for $1.28 after coupons and gift card.  Here is a list of everything I bought and the coupons I used.  Keep in mind that you do not have to buy as many of each product as I did (or you may want to buy more).  At Target, you can combine manufacturer coupons with Target store coupons (see more info here).  You can print the Target coupons from the link I provided but you may have to open a free account for the site, OR some of the coupons are available directly from the Target website here.

Some of the coupons were a higher value than the price of the product.  The register would not automatically accept those coupons, but a manager allowed my cashier to override the computer and allowed me to use the coupons.  You may or may not be able to do these deals depending on the decision of the manager on duty at your store.  I marked these special purchases with a “*”, so you can try them at your own risk.

I provide the coupon insert info, so you do not have to clip all the coupons every week if you do not have the time.  Just write the date on the front of each booklet and file them, then you can easily find the coupons you need for a quick shopping trip.  Abbreviations used:

RP = Red Plum coupon insert from the Sunday newspaper

SS = Smart Source insert from the Sunday newspaper
